He sat in a taxi with a four-year-old child and immediately afterwards lost consciousness , without being able to say anything. It happened on Friday night at Elmas airport: rescue efforts began immediately for the man, a 40-year-old Englishman from London.

But Border Police agents had to investigate for over an hour to understand who the frightened and crying child was, who had not arrived on the plane with the man and had no documents.

After having hypothesized all the possible scenarios, it was possible to trace the identity of the child and therefore the mother who, contacted by telephone, explained that she had taken him to the airport to entrust him to his father , her ex-partner, who had arrived on the island to spend the weekend with son.
