The Food and Travel Awards Return to the Island

Everything is ready for the seventh edition of the Food and Travel Italia Awards , the Italian edition of the first international magazine, distributed in 18 countries, which deals with food and wine, gourmet travel and high-profile tourism , which will stop on the island in the suggestive setting of the Forte Village Resort this evening, Thursday 10 October, at 6.30 pm.
The aim of the 2024 edition is to demonstrate that food and wine culture can be combined with glamour, in an event that celebrates the historical prestige of publishing with a “contemporary” and captivating look.
"It will be an edition in which I would like us all to go back to being a little childish, brave and contemptuous of danger - comments the patron of Food and Travel Italia, Pamela Raeli - The Award is conceived as a format that valorizes Food, Wine, Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Territorial Culture".
The winners of the seventh edition will be announced this evening during the gala evening of the event, hosted by Pamela Raeli, the multifaceted Filippo Polidori and the Director of Food and Travel Italia Fabrizio Imas.
The awards to be given cover all areas of catering, hospitality, tourism, luxury and entrepreneurship.
Awards will be given not only to products, but also to organizations of excellence, in the categories of wine, location and destination of the year.
And, as always, the Special Awards given by the Food and Travel board will be assigned to professionals and personalities who have given particular prestige to the sectors they belong to both in Italy and abroad.
The guests of the event are prestigious and, as per tradition, they will remain secret until the beginning of the event.
“Remember to always dare”, a phrase uttered by the poet and prophet Gabriele D'Annunzio, is the theme of this seventh edition of the 2024 Awards which in recent years has toured the most prestigious tourist locations on the Peninsula.

Among the winners of the first edition, also held at Forte Village in 2018, we can remember Bruno Vespa, for his niche wine production, and the starred chefs Davide Oldani, Enrico Cerea and Antonio Guida, among the best known to the general public.
