In the shadow of the Dome they created a 48 square meter flower display. He depicted the church of Arbatax and the simulacrum of Stella Maris.
On the occasion of the annual feast of the holy apostles Peter and Paul, patrons of Rome, the eternal city welcomed the traditional historical flower display, in honor of Pope Francis. Since dawn today, faithful and visitors have been able to admire the colorful beauty of an ancient celebration, marked by the exhibition of paintings created on the ground with fresh flower petals, dried flowers and other natural materials: a true exhibition in the sky open which gives prestige to the particularity of floral craftsmanship.
Protagonists, for Sardinia, are the flower workers of Tortolì, with the Passioni d'Ogliastra group. The expedition was coordinated by the regional Unpli, led by the president Raffaele Sestu, by the Pro loco Rocce Rosse of Tortolì, represented by the managers Fabrizio Palmas (president), Jessica Fanni (secretary) and Francesco Iesu (member), and by the Municipality with the Councilor for Culture, Rita Cocco.
