It was the 1990s when people gladly traveled just over 15 kilometers from Arzachena to reach the "Bagaglino" in Liscia di Vacca to enjoy a pleasant evening at the theater , in the company of actors and actresses of great national and international fame. You didn't even give up on cold winter evenings, so much so that season tickets flocked.

Today the Bagaglino Theater (later called Teatro delle Stelle), located in Liscia di Vacca, a few steps from Porto Cervo, saw the curtain fall for the last time .

The structure was considered the theater of the inhabitants of Arzache who, before the construction of the Municipal Auditorium (AMA multidisciplinary auditorium), could have access to the "parish hall" for more modest events.

The opening of the Bagaglino, with the arrival of the most famous Italian theater companies, has allowed many Arzachenesi to enjoy pleasant cultural evenings even when the spotlights went out on the emerald green summers .

The building, which was very carefully decorated and built with quality materials, overlooked an equally well-kept square and could accommodate up to 500 people . It had an auditorium and gallery and was often used by music schools for performing essays and by some schools in Arzachena for theatrical performances. Some high school teachers used to bring students to follow the theater seasons.

The structure, which was part of the complex that included the Hotel Le Palme, which was also demolished in recent weeks, will make room for the new extra-luxury hotel wanted by the Sixth Street Investment Fund in collaboration with the financial consultancy firm Eidos Partners. The opening of the new complex is scheduled for 2024.
