A series of events, including screenings, talks, and performances, exploring the many forms of discrimination that still plague women's lives. The title S compose immediately declares the project's intention: to reverse a perspective. "Scomposta" (uncomposed) is the woman who doesn't stay in her place, who doesn't adhere to expectations. But "scomposta" is also the very image of women, fragmented over time by external gazes, power dynamics, and imposed rules.
The festival, curated and organized by the Società Umanitaria di Alghero, explores these fractures and attempts to heal them, showcasing stories that capture the complexity of the contemporary female experience. The program runs from late November to early March and touches on crucial themes: violence and harassment, workplace discrimination, stereotypes, rights, female representations, and liberation practices.
