The air of Seulo? It is the cleanest in Italy
The control unit installed in the Sardinian town was the only one to have recorded an average value of Pm 2.5 in the country, in line with the WHO recommendations
In 2019, the smog control unit of Seulo and the Nusaunu Forest Complex in Sardinia was the only one in Italy to have recorded an average value of Pm 2.5, in line with WHO recommendations.
This is what emerges from the update of the air quality maps of the European Environment Agency.
In the same year, about 25% of the control units on the national territory recorded concentrations of fine particulate matter within the limits set by the EU regulations (25 µg / m3).
All countries, with the exception of Estonia, recorded concentrations above the most recent WHO recommendations (5 µg / m3).
