A 29-year-old young man was injured by a firecracker explosion in Tertenia . The fact happened around 3 pm near a town square.

The 118 operators and the carabinieri of the Jerzu company intervened on the spot.

The helicopter of the Regional Emergency Urgency of Sardinia (Areus) also landed in the village to transport the injured person to the burn center of the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari .

From the first information, the 29-year-old suffered second and third degree burns in most of his body, especially in his legs, arms and chest.
