The 18th edition of the Faber Festival, the tribute that Tempio pays Fabrizio De André every year, starts on Friday evening .
The novelty of the 2023 edition is the decision to move the event from the historic center of the Gallura town to the places loved by the poet.
The title "In Faber's places between music, art and nature" confirms the new setting, as well as the program of concerts, exhibitions and installations which will enliven the historic center of Tempio Pausania and the woods of Mount Limbara from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 July. Faber's places tell of De Andrè's deep bond with Sardinia and Gallura. The national and international artists have been chosen by the director, the musician and composer Sandro Fresi, who has been curating the Tempio Faber Festival for years, organized under the patronage of the Municipality of Tempio thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione di Sardegna.
It starts on Friday 14 July at 10pm, in the central Piazza Gallura with the concert by Zirichiltagghja, the tribute band that will retrace the main moments in De Andrè's life and career.
Saturday 15 July from 11, full day of events with the unprecedented installation of acousmatic music, conceived by the musician and composer Marco Dibeltulu, the popular stories of the Mediterranean sung by Federico Marras Perantoni, the virtuosity of the harmonica by Moses Concas and the electric harp by Raoul Moretti and narrative arrangements by Marco Carta & Denise Gueye.
