Paolo Fresu returns to speak to the collective conscience through music. Today, Tuesday, December 16, at 7:00 PM, the internationally renowned Sardinian trumpeter will perform a high-profile free concert at the Teatro del Carmine in Tempio Pausania, alongside accordionist Pierpaolo Vacca and singer Marta Loddo, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Elisabetta Naddeo Anti-Violence Center.
Not just an artistic event, but a moment charged with civic and symbolic meaning. Music, a universal language, becomes a tool for reflection and awareness on the issue of gender violence, offering the public a space for listening, emotion, and dialogue. A powerful message, entrusted to performers capable of combining artistic rigor and human sensitivity. The new Anti-Violence Center, whose official inauguration is scheduled for 4:00 PM, was created within the framework of the PLUS project, with Tempio Pausania as the leading Municipality. A red bench, curated by FNP CISL and CISL Gallura, will visually mark the commitment to combating violence.
The Center is named after Elisabetta Naddeo, a 22-year-old university student who was the victim of femicide in 2002. She left home on the evening of October 26th to buy a CD and never returned: her body was found a few hours later, in a courtyard near her home.
The day kicks off at 11:00 a.m., again at the Teatro del Carmine, with “Non sono solo parole,” a show against gender violence for high school students, starring Ambra Pintore, Federico Valenti, and Pierpaolo Vacca.
