It is the most important drug seizure in Gallura (the highest quantity ever), one of the largest on the island, and the Tempio Prosecutor's Office has summed up the investigation conducted for months in Olbia and Telti.

We are talking about the investigations which culminated (October 2022) in the discovery of two tons of marijuana, in "processing" inside a shed in the countryside of Andrieddu (Telti).

The disputes (formalized on the basis of information from the Carabinieri of Olbia) are borne by Gabriele Soro, 30 years old, owner of the warehouse where the seizure took place, by Roberto Mecchia, a Lazio businessman resident in Olbia, Roberto Pala, originally from Serdiana, and by Antonello Niffoi from Nuoro. They would have organized, with different roles, the "processing" of cannabis (with a very high active ingredient, according to the consultancy requested by the Army).

The "blossoming" took place on the Telti farm, but the plants would have arrived in Gallura from other areas of Sardinia. Several Romanian workers were allegedly hired, who, according to Tempio prosecutors, were told that marijuana was legal. Three people have definitively left the investigation.

Lawyers Antonello Desini and Nicoletta Mani have obtained the complete rehabilitation of Antonio Soro, Gabriele's father, unjustly subjected to house arrest for 25 days. The man was found to be totally unrelated to the activities alleged against the suspects. The positions of Michele Ena, from Olbia, and Maria Teresa Soro have also been archived.
