Tavolara: hiker stuck on the "ferrata degli angels", rescued by helicopter

A French hiker, who was stuck on the island of Tavolara, in the "ferrata degli angels", was rescued around 3pm today.

The Olbia firefighters intervened, transported by a Coast Guard patrol boat, and together with the helicopter from the Fertilia unit which recovered the hiker, who appeared scared but in good physical condition.

She was finally taken back to Porto San Paolo, again with the collaboration of the Olbia Coast Guard.
