To impose them, with an ordinance, was the mayor Paolo Truzzu who confirmed the restrictions of recent years, on uses and abuses that too often had triggered episodes of intolerance and violence in the city areas characterized not so much by the massive gathering of Cagliari and tourists but also from the so-called " bad nightlife ".

Specifically, in the historic districts of Cagliari it is forbidden to sell for take-away , even through vending machines, including the so-called neighborhood businesses used for the exclusive use of the sale through vending machines, of alcoholic beverages in bottles, cans and other containers and any other drink in glass containers from 10pm to 6am. The stop does not include any exceptions and applies equally to holidays, days before holidays and working days.

In the same areas, neighborhood businesses with an area of less than 150 square meters with alcoholic and spirits in their daily commercial offer stop their activity from 10 pm. "The owners - explains the ordinance signed by Truzzu - are obliged to keep the empty containers avoiding the removal ». The operators must also provide for disposal in compliance with the provisions issued by the municipal administration.
