A silent flash mob, among puppets lying on chairs scattered in the granite square, under the Regional Council. The faces of Sardinian politicians were attached with Bostik to the papier-mâché shapes. Around, protest banners. The Rete per la Pratobello 24 thus contested the approval of bill 45 on suitable areas by the assembly, strongly desired by the president of the Region Alessandra Todde.
Todde herself, with a representation that was perhaps a little too strong in the way it was expressed, was portrayed as a subject of Mario Draghi on the wind energy issue , also to recall that the governor was deputy minister of the Economy in the banker's government.
The reactions came immediately: «Pratobello remains there», says Pasquale Mereu, father of the popular initiative law proposal that, from July to September, collected 211 thousand signatures. «This is only the demonstration of what we have always said about the new colonialism of the Island, but the game is not over».
Disappointed Davide Meloni, of the Uta committee: «With the law approved yesterday, President Todde and Campo Largo will be remembered as those who sold Sardinia to speculators, even worsening the rules contained in the Draghi Decree to which they submitted . In addition to Article 3, which gives mayors the possibility of deciding that an unsuitable area can become suitable, but not the other way around, with the formula of bill 45 we will find ourselves, among other things, with energy speculation in the form of energy communities in agricultural areas of naturalistic and archaeological importance».
