«Strong storms on the way»: the orange alert is triggered in Sardinia

Strong thunderstorms are expected in Sardinia and the orange alert is triggered in Gallura.

In detail: assigned a yellow code (ordinary criticality) for risk in the Flumendosa-Flumineddu alert area. Same criticality in the alert area for Logudoro. Orange, in fact, for Gallura.

During today, we read in the Civil Protection notice, «Sardinia may be hit by strong storms which will affect the north-eastern part of the island, with cumulative amounts up to high. The phenomena could also affect the central-eastern part of the island."
