All of Sardinia is tinged with yellow. Following the Civil Protection codes, for the afternoon and most of tomorrow, the plant in via Biasi in Cagliari has issued a notice of ordinary criticality for hydraulic and hydrogeological risk on all regions of the island.

According to the maps, an improvement is expected starting from the eastern sectors on Thursday.

The areas affected by the storms - already active in these hours - are Iglesiente, Campidano, Montevecchio Pischinappiu, Flumendosa Flumineddu, Tirso, Gallura and Logudoro.

Around 13.30 a violent downpour hit the Cagliari area and the Municipality of Carbonia invited citizens not to go out unless strictly necessary.
