Another sad twenty-seven for the workers of Tossilo Spa, who have not received their paycheck for three months. The situation is worrying and nothing is yet known about what the future of these workers and the waste treatment plants in half of Sardinia will be. «There is a strange silence around the industrial consortium - reports the minority municipal councilor, Gianfranco Congiu - a good fifteen days have passed, to date no response from the mayor on the future of our Tossilo consortium and on the industrial policies that the new municipal council would have in mind. Nothing has moved on the disbursement of the famous million euros that the Region let dance before the finance company, then in the connected, then who knows where, but to date it has still not reached the pockets of the workers".
Congiu continues by denouncing that nothing is known about the meeting between the mayor and the president of the Region and nothing is known about the sudden and mysterious resignation of what was called the super manager, Albino Sivero. «This is the situation - writes Congiu among other things - There is little to be calm about».
Mayor Riccardo Uda uses ironic tones in his response: «We are deeply saddened that councilor Gianfranco Congiu had to wait 15 days without receiving a response from the undersigned on the industrial consortium and incinerator issue, but honestly we find no trace of his question in this regard. We take note of this now and wait for you to make any requests from now on through the institutional channels. For now, try to regain a sense of proportion and resign yourself by thinking that if he had to wait fifteen days to get an answer to a question he never asked, the citizens of Macomer and the surrounding area have had to wait for an answer to the same questions for a good ten years . These are years in which Councilor Congiu himself played an institutional role at a local and regional level without leaving any significant trace of his work on the industrial consortium and incinerator issue."
However, the situation is dramatic for the 30 workers, who risk not even receiving their December salary together with their thirteenth salary, facing a truly sad Christmas, more than this twenty-seventh.
