In a few days there were a total of 7 red codes treated by the Oristano Flying Squad. Three people have been reported for stalking , the others - including the 48-year-old arrested for beating his wife - must answer for ill-treatment.

"Since the beginning of the year, the Oristano State Police, in countering the unfortunate phenomenon in question - explain the Police Headquarters - has implemented 20 precautionary measures, four of which in prison, one under house arrest, six security measures with forced hospitalization in a nursing home and nine removals from the family home with a ban on approaching offended persons".

Data that unfortunately is growing: "A balance that in the first months of the year 2023 has already exceeded that of the whole year 2022 - the police specify - in which the Mobile Squad of the Police Headquarters had carried out 15 precautionary measures, ordered by the Gip of the Court of Oristano. In the cases examined, which cut across the ages and social status of the people involved, in addition to the violence against companions, ex-partners, children and neighbors, the common factor among the aggressors was frequently the abuse of alcohol and drugs».
