Spring has already started a week ago, but after the first days with milder temperatures, bordering on summer temperatures last weekend, colder temperatures have returned to Sardinia. And also snow, above 1300 metres, as already happened in 2020 and 2021.

A few sprinkles whitened the peaks of Gennargentu where last night they reached -1 degrees.

A blanket that is destined, however, to melt in the next few hours given the rising temperatures with a temperature range of 6 to 8 degrees.

It is the effect of the Easter cyclone which is affecting all of Italy and also the island and which has given a final blow to a winter characterized, however, by decidedly higher temperatures than the historical averages of the period.

According to the Air Force weather office, the trend also includes an increase in temperatures with some precipitation in central western Sardinia, first and northern Sardinia during Easter, with extensive cloud cover. Spring and full sun will be seen again only after the holidays with the first weekend of April.
