Thanks to the “Pula fun run” , the charity race organized last July by the Municipality and the Vivi Pula merchants, the association “Il paese dei cuori”, which supports children with heart disease, was able to purchase new and important machinery . The event, strongly supported by the vice president of Vivi Pula, Ettore Caboni, and by the majority councilor Salvatore Di Caro, had allowed the collection of 5,500 euros , used by the association chaired by Professor Roberto Tumbarello to purchase a new and sophisticated Holter system for children with heart disease .

"We are very happy to have helped this association - says the mayor, Walter Cabasino -, for us it is a great satisfaction to have given life to an initiative that has highlighted the attention of the administration, associations and citizens towards social issues, we will repeat this initiative in 2025". The deputy mayor and councilor for Sport, Elisabetta Loi, is also satisfied: "We believed in this initiative from the very beginning, which aims to promote healthy physical movement and, at the same time, shows affection and closeness to children with heart disease. We are proud to have contributed to the realization of this event that saw the participation of 500 people".

For Councilor Salvatore Di Caro, the greatest success is having contributed to the purchase of important childcare equipment: "This is extraordinary news that fills us with pride, as we know we have done our part to support the association Il paese dei cuori. We are truly excited to see how our commitment can make a difference in the lives of many people. The fundraiser was a great success and each participant contributed to an important goal, demonstrating that together we can achieve significant goals."
