It seems to have come out of an Impressionist painting and for this reason Lorenzo Busilacchi was enchanted and captured this play of colors with his ever-present Canon al Margine Rosso.

Amid the golden and blue streaks of the sky, a rare optical phenomenon appeared: a single sun dog, visible just above the horizon, between the wind-blown clouds .

The shot, taken using a Canon 6D Mark I and a Canon EF 15–35mm f/2.8 lens, captures a fleeting yet extraordinary moment when sunlight refracts off ice crystals suspended in the atmosphere, creating a point of light resembling a fragment of a rainbow.

An event that lasts a few moments, but which – as often happens in nature – is imprinted on the lens of those sensitive enough to capture it.
