He defined Sa Die de Sa Sardigna, which for three days, from 28 to 30 April, will hold the island's flag high, as an opportunity for a rebirth of Sardinia. But Christian Solinas announced his re-nomination for president of the Region, after speaking about the issues of the end of his mandate and the stadium issue.

Governor Solinas, therefore he will reapply for the now imminent Regionals: with what conditions?

«I believe that the legislature closing in twelve months had a two and a half year interlude due to a pandemic that changed the political agendas not only of the Sardinian region, but of all the governments of the world. We therefore deserve, as a political formula, to be able to complete the many reforms undertaken and the results achieved, starting with the Health Reform, up to the Reform of Local Authorities, the consolidation of the budget, investments in infrastructure.
We can present ourselves to the Sardinians with a series of results achieved and a series of ongoing projects that we intend to complete».
What will be the agenda at the end of the term?
“We have started some courses. In my opinion, there is a lack of a clear regulation on Urban Planning, Construction and Landscape, above all to give breath to a tourist accommodation system that can make a great contribution to the regional GDP. We must give our hotels the opportunity to keep up with the international offer and therefore to acquire ever more high-level standards in order to position Sardinia as a tourist destination capable of offering very high quality. It is necessary to re-establish a correct balance following a series of interventions by the Constitutional Court, which have sought, on the one hand, to call into question skills acquired over time; on the other, finally, lastly, acknowledging the validity of our statements, and that is that some implementing provisions of the Statute had given us competence".

The issues to close immediately?

«We must complete the second pillar of the health reform, after that of the governance of the reopening of local companies. Now it is up to local medicine and that is to say to all that chronicity range that we have to take care of right from the territory of residence, without the need for it to converge on hospitals, where only the emergency-urgency must flow ".

On the Cagliari stadium, the new "Gigi Riva", the path is traced. There is the amendment approved by the Regional Council. How tied is the stadium to the new hospital in Cagliari?
«I believe that the regional law has clarified the need to give Sardinia, the city of Cagliari and all citizens a new stadium. But next to the stadium, a hospital that responds to health demand. And in turn, alongside this, a university service for the right to study that lives up to the expectations that young Sardinians have».

In conclusion, you are very fond of Sa die de sa Sardigna, which will also feature the L'Unione Sarda publishing group. It will be three important days: you spoke of restarting. How much does Sardinia need a rebirth?
"Absolutely. I believe that the thirtieth anniversary of Sardinia takes on a particular meaning at this moment. After the great trials to which the Sardinian people were subjected with the pandemic, the reckless increase in energy, the Ukrainian-Russian crisis with the war. There is a need to restart and to restart with momentum. And to do this there is a need, in my opinion, for a renewed assumption of self-awareness, of all Sardinians, of the great potential of this land's resources and of the great abilities of its inhabitants. Celebrating the founding myth, a moment of collective resistance, helps today to forcefully re-propose the need to take back the fate of our land".
