Friday 13 September from 5 pm at FAI - Saline Conti Vecchi, we celebrate taste with Slow Food: the protagonist is salt. A unique culinary experience dedicated to taste and tradition by Slow Food Cagliari. The tasting will be held by Chef Patrizio Perra - pioneer of traditional and revisited Sardinian cuisine - who will prepare dishes in which salt will be the protagonist. The Chef himself spoke of his satisfaction with the event.

"The idea of being able to cook in such a particular context as the Saline Contivecchi is truly stimulating for me. I certainly thank Slow Food Cagliari for having placed their trust in me. Presenting recipes in a place so full of charm and history, with its wild appearance, but at the same time so close to the city, is a further push towards the search for new tastes and combinations. However, I would like it to be an evocative culinary experience and closely connected to the landscape context and, at the time of the salt harvest. Salt is a key element in cooking - about which we know little - and this is where Slow Food's commitment comes into play. A landscape that is certainly not foreign to my vision of cooking, but which differs in various characteristics: from the colors to the scents for the vegetation and fauna, from the usual places that have suggested other pushes in the kitchen, such as the countryside or the agricultural areas of the interior. A small contribution, on my part, aimed above all at the protection and respect of the lagoon and its species."
