A tornado hits the Serdiana airfield, causing a camper to flip over.

The unusual and sudden event struck Serdiana late yesterday evening, around 9:30 pm: a violent tornado hit the airfield, causing extensive damage to fixed and mobile structures.

A camper parked between the warehouses was even overturned. Inside was a paratrooper preparing to spend the night at Is Paulis. He was quite frightened, but fortunately, he suffered no serious injuries other than a minor bruise to his hand.

The moments of the tornado's passage were captured by the facility's surveillance cameras.

This morning, extensive work was carried out at the airfield to clear debris from the ground and make the flight area accessible again and available to paratroopers.
