Sit him down, flames in the house: 91-year-old saves himself and raises the alarm

Moments of fear this afternoon in Sedilo due to a fire that broke out in a house where a 91-year-old woman lives alone . And it was precisely the old woman's quick reflexes that avoided the worst: it was she who raised the alarm and quickly left the house engulfed in fire.

It all happened in the early afternoon: a sudden blaze near the gas stove , then the fire spread to the TV table, the sofa and the kitchen chairs. When the woman saw the flames, she immediately left the house and asked the neighbors for help. The report was immediately sent to the operations room of the Oristano fire brigade, the team from the Abbasanta detachment intervened and put out the fire and made the building safe by taking the cylinder out. From initial investigations it seems that the fire was started by a fault in the gas stove .

The old woman suffered no consequences, apart from a huge scare. The building suffered extensive damage , especially the kitchen. The Sedilo carabinieri also intervened on site.
