The anniversary of the Liberation will be remembered on Saturday in Sinnai . The appointment is at 9.30 in the parish hall of Santa Barbara , organized by the local ANPI section, named after the Sinnaese partisan Angelo Monni.

The central theme of the debate will be centered on the theme: “ No to war. Let's build peace ."

"The topic of war - says Gianni Murgia , president of the ANPI - arouses worrying anguish throughout the world, especially after the events of 7 October 2023 in the Middle East where the situation is becoming increasingly dramatic".

During the meeting, which will be organized by Gianni and Antonello Murgia, the figure of the Sinnai partisan Angelo Monni will also be remembered. Nicola Serra will bring projections, films and readings, followed by readings by Fausto Siddi and Maristella Fusaro.

Marzia Erriu, Emilia Uda and Aldo Lobina will take part in the debate on "Peace and War". The closing will be entrusted to Lidia Roversi.

Entrance to the parish hall is free. The work will be coordinated by Gianni Murgia, president of the local section of the Anpi (partisan association).
