No one was injured in the shooting in via San Donato in Sassari which occurred at lunchtime.

According to an initial reconstruction, six or seven shots were fired from a gun but none hit a person. At the moment, two North Africans are in custody in the police station.

For reasons yet to be ascertained, around 1 pm a fight broke out in the alley, with a chase that took the protagonists to the center of the street, where the shots occurred.

In addition to the military personnel, the state and local police were also on site. Investigations are underway by the military to identify the fired shells.
