Sestu, a 19-year-old man dies after a car crashes off the road.

Serious accident in Sestu on provincial road 9.

A 19-year-old driver, Paolo Accossu, from Ussana, lost control of his Panda, which had veered off the road, and was thrown from the vehicle. Emergency personnel responded immediately and found the young man unconscious and in cardiac arrest.

Desperate resuscitation efforts were immediately undertaken, but unfortunately they proved in vain: the young man died on the asphalt.

No other people or vehicles were involved. Firefighters also arrived at the scene.
