From today Selargius has a new centenary. The secret to reaching one hundred years old? «I don't know either» , says smiling Annetta Puddu , daughter of the city's first postwoman, with lively eyes, a memory that would be the envy of the youngest, and a super family gathered to celebrate the century of life brought with absolute ease.

Seven children, 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren: four generations all together . But the protagonist is Annetta, who writes down the blood pressure values on a piece of paper every day. “I'm fine,” he assures . And the GP, who arrived to bring her an orchid, confirms.

The deputy mayor Gabriella Mameli , representing the mayor Gigi Concu outside Sardinia for an institutional commitment, wishes her best wishes on behalf of the entire community. « You are our wealth, a precious page in the history of our community . For me it is an honor to be here today, as a Selargine rather than as a politician", adds the deputy mayor as she hands a bouquet of tulips to the new centenarian, together with the parchment and birth certificate which commemorates the years, visible only on paper.
