Scams in the energy sector, Enel and Carabinieri in the field in Cagliari

The Arma dei Carabinieri and Enel are even closer for the prevention and fight against illegality , the protection of the environment and the territory .

These are the themes of the meeting between the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Cagliari and Enel, aimed at implementing territorially the provisions of the protocol signed between the Arma and the Company last November, focused on the protection of the environment and natural resources, the fight to climate change and the contribution to sustainable economic development .

PARTICIPATED SAFETY - It is precisely in the area that the agreement will have its full effect thanks to the new participatory safety model that will allow jointly addressing the problems related to the safety and operational continuity of the electricity networks and infrastructures, to the protection of the personnel responsible for their management and corporate assets.

EYE TO SCAMS - During the meeting, the phenomenon of fraud related to the energy sector was also examined, in particular the fraudulent phenomenon of the existence of abusive operators who pretend to be agents of Enel Energia by telephone in order to get the attention of the interlocutor, to then offer contracts with competing third parties during the telephone call. In this regard, Enel Energia recalled that the authorized telephone numbers can be verified on its website and that citizens can contact the official contact channels for any report.
