Less than €100 stolen and a thousand euros in damage. Another break-in in Sassari targeted the Caff&Miciclo bar in the Emiciclo Garibaldi district last night. Two hooded individuals smashed the entrance window with a large rock, stealing the cash—less than €100, to be precise.
The burglary occurred in a central location between several premises equipped with security cameras , which could provide important leads to the Carabinieri. The suspicion is that the perpetrators of the break-in may be the same ones responsible for the recent burglaries on Viale Umberto and Viale Trieste, where two pizzerias were targeted.
"As a trade group," says Alberto Fois, the bar's owner and regional president of Confcommercio and Fipe Nord-Ovest, "we're worried. This type of thing happens cyclically in Sassari. I hope the Carabinieri catch the thieves."
