The Administrative Director and the Medical Director of the University of Sassari have been appointed . Alberto Mura and Lucia Anna Mameli , respectively, were selected by General Director Serafinangelo Ponti to complete the governance of the institution. The resolution, passed yesterday, confirmed the two directors and consolidated the strategic direction for the next three years .

"The challenge that opens today," states the CEO, "is a positive and conscious one. We must strengthen what we have built and project it toward new development paths. Organizational innovation, technological investments, integration with the University, and a focus on the individual will be the cornerstones of our mandate. We have a healthcare and administrative management team fully qualified to contribute in the coming years, consolidating the processes already underway and guiding the Company on a path of growth and modernization."

Alberto Mura , administrative director at AOU since June 2025, has previously held various management roles at the Municipality of Sassari, working in the Culture and Tourism, General Affairs, and Social Rights, Inclusion, and Equal Opportunities sectors. He was also coordinator of the Plus area. In the healthcare sector, he was director of the Administrative and Territorial Service supporting the three districts of ASL 1 Sassari and, within the Human Resources Department of ATS, he served as director of the ATS Sardegna National Health Service (ATS Sardegna) and, for the latter organization, he also served as head of Anti-Corruption. Lucia Anna Mameli has been the health director of AOU Sassari since December 2023. She has been an employee of AOU Sassari since 2005 and is a hematology specialist . She is also head of the Coagulation Diseases unit.
