He was under house arrest and returns there after yesterday's direct hearing in court in Sassari. A 50-year-old man from Sassari was caught outside his home by state police officers on Thursday morning despite being the recipient of a precautionary measure .
Furthermore, as the police soon discovered, the man was driving a stolen scooter and, for this reason, along with the theft and escape , the charge of receiving stolen goods was also triggered. Furthermore, he was riding a moped despite his revoked license which should have prevented him from driving.
Prosecutor Angelo Beccu asked for prison for the 50-year-old while judge Valentina Nuvoli ordered the man, defended by the lawyer Massimiliano Tore, to continue under house arrest .
