About two quintals of illegal "barrels" were seized by the Sassari Flying Squad from a local shipping company.

The officers intervened, with anti-explosive dog units, as part of the checks in the area to combat the sale and possession of non-compliant fireworks.

The objects, coming from Naples and packaged in such a way as to completely conceal their contents, were intended for three citizens of Sassari who were reported in a state of freedom.

The pyrotechnic devices have been transferred to an authorized warehouse.
