Sassari: Threats on the Street with a 9-Centimeter Knife Arrested

He threatened some foreigners with a knife in Sassari and was arrested and sent to prison.
It happened yesterday in Corso Vittorio Emanuele, in the historic center, when local police officers noticed a 37-year-old Gambian man wandering around with the weapon whose blade was nine cm.
Upon seeing the police, the man attempted to run away, but was soon caught by officers in a nearby alley. There, the man, who had hidden the knife in his clothing, resisted their intervention, forcing the officers to arrest him.
Today in court, at the validation hearing, Judge Giancosimo Mura confirmed the arrest of the non-EU citizen, represented by lawyer Martina Salaris, and ordered the precautionary prison order in Bancali.
