Sassari: The Popes' Garden has been cleaned and secured.

Greenery maintenance in the Santa Maria di Pisa neighborhood of Sassari is progressing. The project was funded with €135,000 from the Regional Private Construction Agency, which in turn received funding from an amendment approved by the Regional Department of Public Works, led by Antonio Piu, during the budget review.

Just yesterday, the Garden of the Popes on Via Cilea was cleaned up . This green space overlooks one of the city's busiest intersections, for those arriving from Viale Porto Torres or heading toward the city center. The trees were pruned and the area was cleared of foliage, thus making the sculptures visible again, which had long been partially or completely obscured by overgrowth.

The work, which includes the green areas of Area's buildings, began at the end of last year and will continue for several months with the aim of removing invasive plants and restoring safety conditions.
