Restyling for eight bus shelters at the Sassari ATP thanks to a redevelopment desired by the company and carried out by Sardegna Vending, a company that won the contract for the management of the structures dedicated to bus stops.

The new structures will be equipped with multilingual information panels, also available for tourists, and an anti-intrusion alarm system equipped with a control unit, outdoor siren and impact protection for vending machines and armored doors, active 24 hours a day.

The cameras are connected to the operations center of a local surveillance institute, thus guaranteeing continuous surveillance , increased by the passage of night patrols. Automatic ticket machines are of the self-service type that allow electronic payments, including innovative systems such as Satispay. There are also vending machines providing snacks and drinks . An overall system that uses a multilingual touch tablet, with an intuitive interface and advanced touchscreen technology, which thus simplifies the selection and purchasing process.

The renovated shelters are located in Piazza Vienna (terminus), via Luna e Sole (in front of schools), via Gramsci (in front of Conad), viale Italia (Polyclinic side), via Predda Niedda (Cemetery), Predda Niedda str 21 (in front of the former Auchan ), Corso Cossiga (in front of school N.2), via Lobina 7 (S. Orsola).

«Not only is an essential and fundamental service returned to the city - declares ATP president Paolo Depperu - to improve the waiting and travel experience, but some strategic streets are made even more dignified with structures that are not only functional for those waiting for the bus but also aesthetically pleasing for the community. We will continue to invest to guarantee a quality service for all the citizens of Sassari."
