The 23-year-old university student of Moroccan origin who yesterday in Sassari stabbed the doorman of the Ersu student residence on Via La Marmora, wounding him in the neck, and then jumped from the roof of the building, falling four stories, remains in serious condition.

The young man is hospitalized at Santissima Annunziata Hospital, while the doorman of the student residence was discharged yesterday afternoon.

Yesterday morning, the student, who arrived in Sassari last October, climbed onto the roof of the Ersu residence hall in the historic center, screaming, and threw a cell phone, a laptop, and his slippers onto the street. Some passersby alerted the doorman, who approached the young man to try to calm him down and bring him back inside. The student stabbed him in the neck several times, barely missing his wound. He then jumped into the air.

The emergency medical service (118) responded to the scene, transporting the boy and the doorman to the emergency room. Officers from the Flying Squad, the Flying Squad, and the local police also responded. Flying Squad inspectors launched an investigation and interviewed several witnesses.
