Sassari: Stones thrown at the surface metro, vehicle damaged

Fear in Sassari. Two days ago, in the evening, a man threw stones at Sirio, the surface subway.

The perpetrator cracked two windows in the center of the vehicle as it was crossing Viale Italia near the Upim department store . Fortunately, there were no passengers on board at the time of impact.

"We had to stop the vehicle for repairs," ARST reports. "The window repair phase is almost complete."

The company has announced that it has filed a complaint against unknown persons. The Carabinieri are investigating the incident.
