Sassari: steals from parked cars, 31-year-old in handcuffs

He broke into cars parked in the center of Sassari to steal what he found inside.

A 31-year-old already known to the police was arrested during the night for aggravated theft and unjustified carrying of weapons or objects capable of offending.

The police were alerted by a passerby, who saw the young man wandering suspiciously near some cars and called 112.

When a Flying Squad from the Sassari Police Headquarters arrived at the scene, they saw the 31-year-old trying to get away and hide the stolen goods under a car. The man was therefore arrested and taken to prison in Bancali pending the validation hearing.
