Six years of imprisonment for sexual violence. This is the sentence requested yesterday, in court in Sassari, in an abbreviated trial, by the prosecutor Maria Paola Asara for a forty-three-year-old from the hinterland. According to the charges, the man had several sexual relations in 2020 with a fifteen-year-old who, although consenting, suffers from a health disorder that would make the adult responsible for having abused "the conditions of physical or mental inferiority of the offended person at the time of the crime".

At least this is the thesis of the deputy prosecutor, illustrated during the discussion, who focused on the story offered in the evidentiary incident by the young woman, who claimed among other things to have been in love with the man. The proceedings are also supported by the intimate videos that the two exchanged on their cell phones and discovered by the young woman's mother , who then filed a complaint.

According to the defense attorney, Nicola Satta, his client never induced or abused the minor . Also because, the lawyer claims, the young woman's deficit is not evident and the forty-three-year-old did not notice it. For these reasons, the man should therefore be fully acquitted. Agostinangelo Marras, the civil party's attorney, agreeing with the PM's conclusions, has asked for a provisional compensation of 10,000 euros for damages. The preliminary hearing judge Gian Paolo Piana has adjourned the case to June 10 for replies and sentencing.
