They sold "traditional" cigarettes and e-cigs containing aromatic liquids and nicotine to minors under the age of 18. In one case even to a 12 year old.

For this reason, during an inspection by the Guardia di Finanza, coordinated by the Provincial Command of the capital, the Green Basques of the Sassari Group identified and sanctioned two tobacconists.

The managers, it emerged, did not check the identities of the young customers. Which in many cases, like that of the 12 year old, were clearly minors.

Administrative violations for over 3 thousand euros were therefore reported and a complaint was filed against the manager of the tobacconist who sold an electronic cigarette to a minor under 14 years of age.

In addition to the financial penalties, the process for the suspension (up to 15 days) or revocation (in case of repeated violations) of the license to carry out the activity has been initiated, with reporting to the competent territorial office of the Agency for Customs and Monopolies.
