A day-tribute to the young rider who died last August. Parents set up a foundation to promote the sport
In Sassari, in the Tottubella district, a day to remember Martina Berluti , the young 17-year-old rider who was victim of a tragic accident on horseback last August.
An initiative that also served to promote the "Martina Berluti" association that the parents founded to encourage young people to take up sport, with scholarships and subsidies.
The event was organized in collaboration with the cultural association for social promotion "Santa Maria Regina" and with the patronage of Fise Sardegna.
During the day there were walks, bicycle rides and of course horseback riding. And then space for entertainment, with many Sardinian artists who performed in musical and cabaret shows.
Funds have been raised for the newborn association and also blood for Avis (the collection was handled by the Campanedda section). Also inevitable is the "baptism of the saddle", which has attracted several girls and boys.
