Sassari mourns the death of Don Giovanni Lilliu

Sassari is mourning the death of Father Giovanni Lilliu , priest of the Church of Nostra Signora di Latte Dolce. The priest, known as Father Gianni, passed away yesterday at the age of 81, after 63 years of religious life and 52 years of priestly ordination. Lilliu was a lifelong member of the Salesian Congregation of Don Bosco, where he also served as inspector for several years after 2000.

" It's a great loss ," comments Don Fabrizio Di Loreto , parish priest of the church, and announces that tomorrow there will be a final farewell for the priest, who was well-known in the neighborhood, where he had lived for a long time.
