A slot machine parlor in Sassari was closed for 15 days. The provincial police commissioner ordered the suspension of the license.
The measure was taken against a business located at Corso Margherita di Savoia 77. This measure was taken, in compliance with the Consolidated Law on Public Safety, following an inspection on September 12, 2026, conducted by local police as part of their efforts to combat illegal gambling. Officers noted that the owner or his representative was not present at the time of the inspection, and that customers were inside the business at a time not permitted by municipal ordinances. They also discovered that a minor was present in the business, who had been allowed to enter. During the investigation, a person with a police and/or criminal record was subsequently identified. However, this discovery was nothing new. On March 9, police officers had discovered similar violations, which had led to a seven-day license suspension on that occasion.
