Tragedy struck yesterday morning in Sassari. A woman threw her dog off the Rosello Bridge around 8:00 a.m., and the animal died from the injuries sustained in the fall.

According to initial reconstructions, the woman appeared to be in a severely altered state of mind and body. State police patrol cars and an ambulance, along with local police, responded immediately .

The person responsible for the act was hospitalized and will be charged with animal cruelty.
