Sassari, man found dead on Via Bovet: police investigating

Some acquaintances found him lying lifeless on the ground. The cause of death of Bastiano Ruiu, 53, on Via Bovet, is still unclear.

Ruiu had only recently moved into the building. The state police were on site to conduct initial investigations.

The victim, when he was a stablehand at the Pinna racecourse, in September 2008, at the height of an argument, fatally hit Gavino Garau with a pitchfork.
