A man was arrested in Sassari for illegal possession of weapons. Flying squad officers responded to Via Padre Luca in recent days after a report of an altercation between three people.

One of them had run away, threatening the other two people present, who, once they returned home, noticed a car that was driving near the entrance, making dangerous maneuvers and sudden accelerations.

Police arrived on the scene, and the driver, upon seeing them, changed direction to evade them. After a brief chase, he stopped at a checkpoint. He was identified and searched, and was found to be carrying a pistol with two rounds in the magazine.

The suspect, who also did not have a driving license or insurance, was arrested.
