Paradoxical episode in Sassari.
The protagonist is a man, arrested because he had violated the ban on approaching his ex. But the 51-year-old had actually returned to living with his partner for some time without problems, starting a relationship with her again.
Last night, however, a violent argument between the two led the 49-year-old to warn her partner that if he didn't stop screaming, she would call the police.
At that point the man from Sassari thought it best to precede her and call the State Police himself who, having arrived at the house with some officers, found the evidence, namely the violation of the prohibition on approach. For this reason the 51-year-old was arrested again.
An anomalous context, which arrived in court today with a direct trial in which the prosecutor Mario Leo asked for the man to be placed in precautionary custody in prison.
Gian Marco Mura, the 51-year-old's defense lawyer, recalled however that it was his client who alerted the police officers. In the end, judge Giancosimo Mura ordered freedom for the Sassari native, but not before reminding him to stay away from the woman because the prohibition on approaching her still remains valid.
