The DJ accused of sexual assault in Sassari has had his house arrest revoked. At the end of February, the 24-year-old was investigated for allegedly forcing a young woman into sexual intercourse despite her refusal.
The two had met at a bar and, in the following days, allegedly had a sexual encounter, which they described as consensual. However, the woman allegedly rejected a new approach and, after the alleged assault, decided to report the man. This is the accusation against the man, represented by Francesco Chessa, the lawyer.
"The relationship with the plaintiff," the lawyer claims, "took place in full consensuality, with free and mutual self-determination, in the absence of coercion, violence, or abuse."
"While the proceedings are pending," he continues, "facts favorable to the client have emerged, which also includes the revocation of the precautionary measure of house arrest. The defense expresses full confidence in the work of the judicial authorities, confident that the continuation of the investigation will allow for a complete and objective reconstruction of the facts."
The preliminary investigations judge Gian Paolo Piana revoked the measure, while the prosecutor is Gianni Caria.
