Sassari: he steals a car and is stopped while driving drunk, a 53-year-old in trouble

He steals a car and, drunk, is stopped by the local police . It happened yesterday in Sassari when a 53-year-old originally from La Maddalena , stole a car that wasn't his and then drove it into the capital of Sassari.

The man was however noticed by the Municipal Police officers who stopped him in via Gazometro, in the historic center. The first checks immediately revealed both the theft and the altered state of the over 50 year old who, seeing himself surrounded, tried to free himself by pushing the police officers , thus being accused in today's direct trial in court in Sassari also of resisting a public official . For the man, defended by the lawyers Paolo Spano and Alessandra Rosa, the prosecutor Gianni Caria requested the obligation to remain at home, a request confirmed by the judge Claudia Sechi.
